    Without the truth, there can be no real morality, justice, equality, success, freedom, love, security, peace, spirituality or even survival. To seek the truth, search “Truth Contest” in Google, then open The Present on the homepage and read what it says.

    @worddunlap It’s safe to say that the existing anti-trust laws have been quietly nullified and the entire paradigm of Due Process no longer exists.
    Every single New Deal law passed to prevent the very evils that beset us again are all gone or ignored. With Congress and the Supreme Court made vestigial by way of Lord Bush and Viceroy Cheney, the Power Elites rule through a puppet executive without let or hindrance.
    We’re in a classic despotic tyranny which makes any surviving anti-trust laws moot

  • worddunlap

    or the could have enforced the anti-trust laws already in place.

    This is part of the problem but we have the solution in Cannabis HEMP — What Wall Street Reform? All the powers on this Earth are money hungry. This is not news that the banks and people with power are greedy. It is only because of God and the Republic that we established on the Word of God given in the Bible do we have a Nation at all. @bass109 The “rapture” is a crackpot theory hatched in the early 1800′s, along with many other crackpot theological hallucinations. Millions of people have died and seen their nations fall, hoping for this delusion that never came. Why do people think that the “rapture” will finally happen when America falls? America has sinned beyond redemption and its hands are soaked in blood.
    Americanized Christians are ruled by superstition instead of hard-headed thinking, as the Founding Fathers did.

    All well and good to reiterate the crimes of the banks and the system. I’m not taking the bait on this.
    This so-called Wall Street Reform means nothing without the complete restoration of Glass-Steagall. This reform should not only feature restoration of Glass-Steagall but, dissolve all financial derivatives. To protect homeowners from the shockwave of derivatives destruction, Obama must forbid foreclosures on primary residences and protect renters from rent spikes. Make the bankers EAT this.

    Hey MrMisteryellow1: What are you talking about? President Obama inherited this crisis from the previous administration. Why aren’t you asking why the Republican majority didn’t see this coming or why Bush et al didn’t see it coming. President Obama is trying to steer the ship but conservatives have focused on obstruction every step of the way.

    The veils are being lifted. Your own strength in understanding and finding each other is the divine plan for peace. Fighting about everything sets us back and further from the truth. Information = light. Use your energy by finding what’s right instead of wrong, then support it all the way.

    @ASLforever100

    Like my dear friend Sylvia used to point out: “What is very upsetting is that the taxpayers bailed out the banks, but the banks never returned the homes to the people.” Yes, now the reforms are coming down the pike, but when will the banks give the homes back to the people? Additionally, the interest rates that these “banks” charged was the main issue for many people, it would change overnight, a legal limit needs to be set for that as well, to make it a fair and transparent playing field.

    I would have liked to have seen Elizabeth Warren head this agency. But, Richard Cordray has a pretty solid record. Maybe Warren will become a senator. Go CFPB!!!
