    Many Greeks were willing to accept reducing the national debt, but they reject the IMF approach of socializing the losses and privatizing the gains, which puts the burden of unsustainable debt repayment squarely on the people. Even if Greece doesn’t default, and it almost certainly will, its debt will be 120 percent of its gross domestic product by 2020. Such debt is clearly unsustainable at a 16 percent interest rate, compared with 6.2 percent before the bailout.
    DEFAULT NOW IS THE BEST OPTION!

    At least WE stand up for our rights while YOU just sell them for money bitch.

  • KozmoJ68

    OK Gerald, It’s been over a year. We haven’t seen anything like the Greek riots. No one has been burned to death. Our hospitals are under staffed but not because of riots. The things you claim to be like the Greek riots are nothing close. Your a sensationalist who manipulates how the news is covered and stated in order to fit your opportunist exaggerations. But wait, “the too rich get too much!?!?” are you actually reporting the facts? No, it only supports your “sky is falling” claims. Flag?

    @theabomation Down with the government!!!

  • fedtheend

    the new twist is we are not all going down. the govt. is trying to exterminate people by forgetting about certain groups such as the long term unemployed. ignoring the deadly gasses of oil spill, probably going to blame people with drug use or drunkeness if they pass out from these gasses. plus once your poor you no longer post on websites.

  • theabomation

    “Big Fat Greek Protests” - ugh, I hate it when TV journalists (the lowest form of journalists) try to be witty.

    Celente is for a kind of capitalism that never was never shall be EGALITARIAN CAPITALISM, what a joke, for a guy talking much sense when criticising the banksters he is at a loss for the remedy, DOWNSIZING and NATIONAL SOLUTIONS , Capitalism is increasing misery,destructions and exploiation of immense humanity, What we got to do is to create a democratic majority movement for world of cooperation for our common needs and well being, a moneyless,classless,stateless humanity

  • BlackAcid1313

    @PHONEYPOLITICS If he was, he would be telling us to invest in the failing markets.

  • ShaytanBozorg

    @danspeaks, you have no clue what you’re talking about.

  • DenmarkRadar

    @PHONEYPOLITICS
    Ahhh, the lure of a conspiracy-theory.
    Apologies for not detecting the foul odour on your first posting.
    But then you are (of course) 100% right…
    /irony

  • danspeaks

    @ShaytanBozorg it is a lack of understanding of the economy… anarcho-communists, love that oxymoron lol

  • ShaytanBozorg

    He’s completely wrong. Those are anarcho-Communists in Greece. It’s nothing about the economy.

  • partymariner

    @partymariner Scratch this comment as it is meant for Americans not Greeks! Sorry, I’m so used to debating US right wingers that I was lost to the fact that the discussion is about Greece. From what I understand the crises was brought about by arcane regulations, a lack of foreign investment and a bloated bureaucracy.

  • partymariner

    @MrSuperpat “Commie revolution”? Try the “Reagan Revolution” with deregulation, massive deficits , tax cuts for the wealthiest 1% and unfettered military spending as the cause of this collapse! All of Bush’s and Obama’s policies are a continuation of this!Progressives sounded the alarm on all of these so quit regurgitating Glenn Beck and research the issues.
