China, IE: wishes to build their industry by building their exports, and they do that by trading many of their goods for US Debt in the form of Treasuries,
Saudi Arabia, must sell their OIL, much of that oil is sold for our debt/treasuries.
Japan built one of the largest industries in the world by doing so as well.
So forced, not at all, no more then we are forced to barrow money from a bank in order to grow our businesses!

@tgvas Dear tvgas, I know you are taking this personally but you are a tiny bit off the mark, everybody is forced to buy American debt or support the dollar in some way or the other. Oil and many other important commodities are traded in dollars forcing nations such as China and Japan to buy dollars. To peg the renminbi at it’s present level the Chinese are forced to buy treasuries and the middle eastern opec countries are forced to buy treasuries in return for military protection.

@murrchops YOU do not understand because you, like many people are completely ignorant of the reality of the world, or the USA, or the Agenda at hand.

The USA forces no one to buy its debt, they buy our debt because our dollars are worth the buying, even now when the FSN is crippled and going down, it is worth them buying it.

They don’t buy our debt without securities’, in the name of Treasuries being in place, WAKE UP and do some research, be knowledgeable prior to accusing!

All I can say is that America is holding up the development of other nations by forcing them to buy it’s debt. @zapproowsdower you know what would be just as effective, is a million-ounce rejection of fiat currency in getting gold and silver bullion or coins and refusing to use paper. That pretty much fucks up their game plus it’s money you aren’t charged a fee for extracting from an electronic account.

@tgvas I can assure you the rest of the world would do just fine if America got out of the way the problem is, that it is. They aren’t suffering, they are achieving a higher standard of living year on year while still supporting unproductive Americans and Europeans by buying their debt.
