Ron Paul isn’t a friend to the poor or to women. I agree that we need to get back on the gold standard and quit playing with fake money. But I cannot in good conscious vote a man who gets most of his life’s philosophy from Ayn Rand. The attitude that poor people should be left to die and elderly should be left without medicare and social security is not a value I support. I also support women’ s right to choose what they do with their bodies. Ron Paul does not.

The FED was not secretly created. Many economists had been advocating a central bank like the ones of Europe already had. It isn’t unconstitutional either. Congress has the power to regulate interstate commerce, establishing a central bank to distribute national currency is a federal right. Banking was chaotic in our country when states were allowed to grant charters, most banks didn’t last more than 5 years. The agency responds to the market, we are experiencing as of now deflation, too few dollars chasing too many goods. Many businesses would like to raise prices to make more profit but cannot because demand is down, many are paying off debt or are saving. Banks are sitting on money because there are few creditworthy people to lend to bus
